Dr. Kevin Zakresky is a Vancouver-based orchestral and choral conductor. He works with choral, instrumental, operatic and Baroque ensembles, crafting adventurous and inspiring programs in venues large and small.
He is currently Music Director of the Pacific Spirit Choir, a festival oratorio ensemble in Vancouver, and Maddalena's Descant, a new high voices ensemble. Previously he was Music Director of the Prince George Symphony and Conductor of the Pacifica Singers, an affiliate ensemble of the Vancouver Chamber Choir.
Kevin has toured as an orchestral conductor for the Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses, National Geographic Symphony, Heroes Symphony, Sonic the Hedgehog, and the Picasso Symphony - shows that have seen him conduct 70+ orchestras throughout North America, South America, and Europe.
Kevin received his Doctorate in Choral Conducting from Yale University in 2012 and has been on the Voice Faculty of the VSO School of Music since 2013.
